About Strategic Intercession

My name is Melanie Boudreau. Since 2008, I've served as an intercessor, led prayer teams, and trained others to do the same — watching what happens when leaders finally get the coverage their calling requires. The results are consistent enough that I built a whole website around them.

Prayer takes three forms, and I've watched leaders discover they've only been practicing two of them. Contemplative prayer is how we build intimacy with God. Petitioning prayer is how we bring our needs to Him. And strategic intercession is how we partner with Him to pray His will into reality, using the authority He's already given you. It's not complicated. It's just underused.

My background includes a University of Texas degree, a stint in medical technology, and years raising a family that included children with special needs. That last part shaped me more than anything else on the list. Since 2008, I've served with Apostolic Intercessors Network as an intercessor, team director, and trainer, taking that work into leadership and missions contexts on multiple continents. Outside of that, I'm a Colorado native who is most at home outdoors. Hiking, skiing, scuba diving, kayaking. I'm an avid traveler and photographer who loves capturing God's artistry through my lens. Above all, I cherish time with my husband of over 40 years, our family, and our precious grandchildren.
